Students who participate in the EMLE programme will receive an official degree from every partner university they have spent a term (LL.M. titles or master titles equivalent to an LL.M.), with the exception of students that attended the Universities of Rotterdam, Ghent and/or the University of Hamburg. Students that went to any of these three EMLE partners will receive a Joint Degree (LL.M. “European Master in Law and Econmics’) in addition to an official degree from any of the other universities they have spent at least one term at. All of these degrees will bear the Erasmus Mundus:Erasmus+ label and are officially recognized in all countries involved. This means that students will receive at least one Joint Degree and probably also an additional degree from the EMLE program, depending on their allocation.

"The opportunities afforded to me by the EMLE program were absolutely wonderful. The dual academic approaches of economic analysis and the legal reasoning means that you come out with policy and strategic understanding. The knowledge received by the EMLE program is encyclopaedic yet somehow profound enough to open many doors, professionally, and academically. I find myself better prepared than most to pursue my research here in Paris."
